Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Guangzhou 5199 Advertising Service Co., Ltd. ("Rarely," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Rarely website, mobile application, and related services.

Information You Provide

We collect information you provide directly, including account details, contact information, shipping details, support messages, order-related information, and any other information you choose to submit through Rarely.

Transaction and Fulfillment Information

We collect and generate information related to purchases, pack pages, order history, fulfillment status, shipping status, refund requests, chargeback reviews, damaged item reports, and customer support records.

Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Rarely does not store full payment card numbers. Depending on the payment method, we may receive limited payment-related information such as transaction identifiers, order amount, currency, payment status, refund status, chargeback status, risk review signals, billing details, and fraud prevention information needed to process orders, prevent abuse, and respond to purchase issues.

Device and Usage Information

We may collect device and usage information such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, log data, approximate location derived from technical signals, pages viewed, buttons tapped, session activity, and error reports.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep the service working, remember preferences, measure performance, understand product usage, improve safety, and detect suspicious activity.

Third-Party SDKs and Platform Services

Rarely uses selected third-party SDKs and platform services to provide account sign-in, purchases, media, animations, secure storage, shipping, support, safety, and app performance features. These providers may process limited device, account, transaction, diagnostic, or usage information as needed to provide their services to Rarely.

Payment service providers Processes payments, refunds, chargeback reviews, risk checks, and payment support. Transaction identifiers, order amount, currency, payment status, refund status, chargeback status, billing details, and fraud-prevention information.
Expo and React Native platform modules Provides app runtime, fonts, images, audio/video playback, haptics, blur effects, gradients, and native platform integration. Device model, operating system, app version, media playback state, image cache data, local device capability data, and technical diagnostics.
Secure storage and app infrastructure modules Helps store authentication data securely and keep app screens, gestures, lists, web views, and animations working. Encrypted local credentials or tokens, session data, device state, screen interaction data, technical diagnostics, and app performance data.
Unity opening scene runtime Supports optional interactive opening-scene effects where enabled by the app build. Opening-scene payload data, device compatibility information, runtime state, and technical diagnostics needed to present or dismiss the effect.
Hosting, API, support, shipping, and fulfillment providers Operates Rarely accounts, orders, customer support, shipping, delivery, and product fulfillment. Account details, order details, support messages, shipping names and addresses, tracking information, device and usage logs, and fraud-prevention information.

Rarely does not currently use Firebase, Sentry, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, or Facebook SDKs in the mobile app. Rarely does not currently include the Stripe SDK in the mobile app, although payment service providers may process payment information outside the app or through hosted payment flows where applicable. Some backend API fields may reserve space for attribution or fraud-prevention data, but the presence of those fields does not mean those SDKs are installed in the app. If we add material SDKs or change how data is shared, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

App Store and Google Play Data Disclosure Summary

The following summary is intended to help users, Apple App Review, and Google Play review understand Rarely's mobile app data practices. Store console forms should be kept consistent with this policy and the app's actual behavior.

Rarely does not use third-party advertising SDKs for cross-app tracking. Rarely does not currently collect contacts, health data, precise GPS location, or the contents of a user's photo library through the mobile app unless a user voluntarily provides relevant information to support. If the app asks for a platform permission in the future, we will use it only for the purpose shown to the user and update this policy where required.

Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Rarely account and associated personal data by visiting Account and Data Deletion or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Rarely Account Deletion". We may need to verify account ownership before processing the request. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for completed orders, shipping, taxes, chargebacks, fraud prevention, safety, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of our agreements.

How We Use Information

We use information to create accounts, process purchases, show pack and order history, fulfill eligible physical goods, provide customer support, improve product safety, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and send service-related updates.

Fraud Prevention and Safety

We may use account, device, transaction, support, shipping, and activity data to detect fraud, payment abuse, underage use, false claims, account takeovers, policy violations, and other activity that may harm Rarely, customers, suppliers, payment service providers, or logistics partners.

How We Share Information

We share information with service providers that help us operate Rarely, including payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, customer support tools, and fraud prevention vendors. We do not sell personal information.

Legal and Compliance Disclosures

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our Terms, protect users, investigate fraud or security issues, resolve disputes, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Rarely and others.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Rarely, process orders, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should keep your account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

International Processing

Rarely may process and store information in countries or regions where we, service providers, payment service providers, hosting providers, or support vendors operate. Data protection laws may vary by location.

Your Choices and Rights

You may also revoke optional permissions through your device settings. Some records may be retained where required for orders, chargebacks, taxes, fraud prevention, legal compliance, safety, or legitimate business records.

Marketing Communications

If Rarely sends optional marketing messages, you may opt out by following the instructions in the message or contacting us. We may still send non-marketing messages related to your account, purchases, security, policies, and support.

Children and Age Limits

Rarely is intended for users who meet the age requirement stated in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users who are not permitted to use the service.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
